About the project

GPS-Protect is the fleet management and monitoring solution, serving hundreds of customers in Europe. In order to further extend the features on the platform, we are updating the UI based on a complete well-documented UX, enhancing the current architecture, optimizing the code, etc. We are constantly creating new features based on our end-customer’s requests and also improving the existing modules. 

Aside from the modernization of the current platform, we are also focusing on new initiatives that will add business value to our customers. 

Your mission

As a Frontend Engineer, you will:

• Develop and maintain a vehicle tracking system delivered through an Agile approach
• Develop, test and deliver new features
• Assist in drawing up and validate technical specifications
• Bring insightful ideas to optimize the tasks at hand
• Investigate new technologies, techniques and research ongoing industry developments

Your profile

• A degree in Computer Science-oriented study or equivalent experience
• 1-3 years experience developing modern front-end web applications in Angular using Typescript
• Experience working in and deploying complex frontend production systems
• Excellent cross-team technical coordination skills
• Good understanding of browser compatibility
• Practical experience with latest technologies and applying those initiatives to improve our platform

Knowledge or experience with the following technologies will be an advantage:

• HTML5/CSS3, Javascript, Typescript
• SQL, JSON, REST APIs, Ajax
• Git, CI/CD Automation, NPM

Currently, we are all operating remote, from home, although we have offices in Iasi and Bacau. Once office operations will return back to ‘normal’, Work from home options will remain available.
